What does a cleaner cost in Oklahoma City, Edmond or Norman? The short answer is that it depends on the home, and a fair quote should tell you exactly how. This guide sets out the published starting prices we use across the Oklahoma City area, the things that move a price up or down in an Oklahoma home, and how to get a firm number in writing before anyone arrives. We are new to Oklahoma, so instead of quoting local averages from a handful of jobs, we show prices you can check and the reasons behind them.
Published starting prices
Our starting prices are the same in Oklahoma as in every state we work in. They apply to a small home in normal condition; your quote is built up from there.
| Service | Starting price | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Regular house cleaning | $160 | Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits |
| Move-in cleaning | $180 | An empty home before you unpack |
| Move-out cleaning | $190 | Before the landlord’s walk-through or a sale |
| Deep cleaning | $200 | A top-to-bottom reset |
| Post-construction cleaning | $250 | After a remodel, storm repair or new build |
| Carpet cleaning | $45 a room | Hot-water extraction |
| Appliance cleaning | $40 | Per appliance, inside and out |
Home size: bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage
The base of every quote is the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms count for more than bedrooms because showers, tubs, glass, toilets and vanities take the most scrubbing. Most Oklahoma City-area homes are built on a slab, so there is usually no basement to price in, but newer homes in Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont and Edmond are often larger single-story layouts with open living areas, a bonus room and three or more bathrooms. Older brick ranches in Oklahoma City and Norman are smaller but can have more detail work, such as older tile, built-ins and window units.
Condition: dust, red dirt and time since the last clean
Two homes the same size can take very different amounts of time. Oklahoma wind pushes fine dust into blinds, window tracks, ceiling fans and the tops of door frames, and red dirt comes in on shoes and paws and settles in grout and entry carpet. A home cleaned every two weeks needs a lighter visit than one that has gone a season without a professional clean. Pets, heavy kitchen grease and soap scum also add time. We ask about condition, or for a few photos, so the price fits the real job.
Regular, deep or move-out?
- Regular house cleaning keeps kitchens, bathrooms, dusting and floors under control on a schedule. It is the lowest price per visit, and recurring plans get up to 15% off.
- Deep cleaning adds what a regular visit skips: blinds slat by slat, ceiling fans, vents and returns, baseboards by hand, grout, window tracks and inside appliances on request.
- Move-out cleaning is a deep clean of an empty home to the checklist landlords inspect, with the inside of every cabinet, closet and drawer included.
Extras that change the price
| Add-on | Why people add it |
|---|---|
| Inside oven and fridge | The first things a landlord or buyer opens |
| Blinds and ceiling fans in detail | Wind-blown dust collects on every slat and blade |
| Garage and storm shelter | Swept and cleared before a move, sale or storm season |
| Walls and ceilings wiped | Marks show clearly in move-out photos |
| Carpet cleaning | Red clay stains, pet hair and traffic lanes |
| Exterior windows | Dust and pollen film after windy weeks |
You only pay for the extras you choose. If you are unsure, ask what your lease or your buyer’s agent expects.
What goes into a move-out price
A move-out clean is priced like a deep clean of an empty home, with the inside of every cabinet, closet and drawer included. In Oklahoma City the extras that matter most are the ones a landlord checks first: the oven and fridge inside, blinds and ceiling fans, walls and switch plates, red dirt in entry carpet and the garage. Empty homes are faster to clean than furnished ones, so clearing everything out first, including the garage and any storm shelter, keeps the price down. Moving into a new place too? A move-in clean starts at $180 and uses the same checklist before your boxes arrive.
Recurring plans and what they save
Regular house cleaning costs less per visit than one-off cleans because dust and red dirt never get the chance to build up. Weekly suits families with pets and young children, bi-weekly is the most common choice, and monthly suits smaller homes kept tidy between visits. Recurring plans get up to 15% off and the same team each time where possible, and you can pause or change the schedule when you travel.
Why the first visit usually costs more
The first clean in a home is almost always the longest. Build-up on blinds, fans, grout, vents and the inside of appliances has to come off once, and the team learns the home. After that, regular visits are quicker and cost less, which is why we suggest one deep clean first, then a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly plan.
When prices feel higher: busy weeks
Our published prices don’t change with the season, but availability does. Norman and Edmond see a wave of student move-outs around the end of the spring semester in May, military families at Tinker move on fixed dates through the year, and spring and early summer are busy for leases and home sales. Book a week or two ahead in those weeks. After a big storm, demand for cleanups rises quickly, so call early.
Pets, red dirt and the price
Pets are welcome, but they change the work. Dogs bring red dirt in on their paws after every rain, shed onto sofas, rugs and stairs, and leave nose prints on glass doors. If you have pets, tell us when you book so the team brings the right tools and allows the time; pet hair removal can be added as an extra, and carpet cleaning lifts what a vacuum leaves behind.
Getting a firm price
A firm price needs three things: the size of the home, its condition and the extras you want. Book online in about two minutes, or ask for a free written quote and send a few photos of the kitchen, bathrooms and garage. We confirm the price and a vetted local team before anything is booked. If the home turns out very different from the description, we talk to you before doing extra work. After the visit, our 36-hour re-clean promise applies.
