- Your price is confirmed in writing before you book.
If you live in Pawtucket, Woonsocket, Cumberland or Lincoln and want a cleaner, the first question is usually the price. We publish a starting price for every service, so you know where you begin, and we confirm your exact price in writing before anything is booked. This guide explains how that price is built and what makes it go up or down in a Blackstone Valley home, so you can compare quotes fairly.
Where prices start
These starting prices are the same in Rhode Island as everywhere we work. They describe the smallest home for each service; your quote adds the size, condition and extras of your own home.

We are new to Rhode Island, so this guide does not quote local averages. Instead it explains the factors behind every quote, which matter more than any average.
Size: bedrooms, and bathrooms even more
Bedrooms are quick to clean compared with bathrooms. A bathroom has tile, grout, a tub or shower, a toilet, a vanity and fixtures that all need scrubbing and sanitizing. Two homes with three bedrooms each can differ a lot in price if one has a single bathroom and the other has two and a half. When you ask for a quote, give the number of full and half bathrooms, and mention a kitchen or bathroom shared between units.
The kind of home
Northern Rhode Island has a mix of housing that cleans very differently:
- Triple-decker units: one floor of a three-family house, often with long hallways, deep window sills, radiators and a back porch. Stairs add carrying time
- Mill lofts: large open rooms in converted brick mills, with high windows, exposed brick and beams. Open space is quick to vacuum, but high surfaces and old brick take longer
- Mill-village houses: small older homes in Manville and Slatersville with compact rooms and steep stairs
- Family homes in Cumberland, Lincoln and North Smithfield: colonials, capes, raised ranches and split-levels, usually with a basement and several bathrooms
- Apartments and condos: compact and usually closest to the starting price
Condition
Condition explains more of the difference between quotes than anything else. A home cleaned regularly is quick to clean again. A home that has not had a thorough clean in months, or has heavy kitchen grease, soap scum, pet hair or nicotine film, needs more time. Sending a few photos with your quote request lets us price it properly the first time, so the price you are given is the price you pay.
Extras
Extras are listed separately, so you only pay for what you want:
- Inside the oven, fridge, microwave or dishwasher, from $40 each
- Carpet extraction, from $45 a room, offered in every Rhode Island town we cover
- Inside cabinets and drawers (included in move-out and move-in cleans)
- Walls wiped or washed, blinds, inside windows
- Basement, porch or back stairs
For a move-out, inside the oven and fridge are the extras most worth adding. Rhode Island law lets a landlord deduct reasonable cleaning costs from a deposit, and kitchen appliances are the first thing most landlords open.
Choosing the right service
The right service is the cheapest one that does the job. A regular clean (from $160) keeps a tidy home tidy. A deep clean (from $200) resets a home that has not been cleaned thoroughly for a while, or prepares it for guests or a new plan. A move-out or move-in clean (from $190) is for an empty home, with the inside of cabinets, closets and drawers included. A post-construction clean (from $250) deals with renovation dust. If you are not sure which you need, describe the home and what you want to achieve when you ask for a quote.
Timing and availability
Prices do not jump in busy weeks, but availability tightens. The end of each month is busy with move-outs, spring is busy with deep cleans once the heat is off, and the weeks before Thanksgiving and the holidays fill early. Same-day cleaning starts at $200 and depends on a local team being free; next-day is often more realistic.
Access and parking
Many triple-deckers and mill buildings have limited parking, shared entrances or freight elevators with set hours. Tell us where the team can park and how they get in, and mention winter parking bans during snowstorms. A smooth arrival keeps the visit on time and the quote accurate.
Recurring plans
A home cleaned every week or two never builds up the grease and soap scum that make a one-off clean long, so a recurring visit costs less than the same home cleaned once in a while. Most households choose bi-weekly: it keeps kitchens and bathrooms under control without paying for a weekly visit. Weekly suits families with young children or pets, and monthly suits a small apartment kept tidy in between. You keep the same team on a fixed day, and you can pause or change the plan when your schedule changes.
For landlords and multi-family owners
Owners of two- and three-family homes often book a move-out clean between tenants and a lighter clean of the shared stairs, halls and basement every month or two. Quotes for a whole building are built unit by unit, with shared areas listed separately, so you can see exactly what each part costs. Ask for a photo report after each turnover clean; it doubles as your record of the unit’s condition for the next tenancy.
What is always included
Every quote includes vetted, insured cleaners, supplies and equipment, a written checklist for the service and our 36-hour re-clean promise. The price is confirmed in writing before you book, and if you want to add rooms or extras later, ask us and we confirm the new price first. If something on the checklist is missed, tell us within 36 hours and we come back to put it right at no extra cost. That is the same whether you book a one-off deep clean or a weekly plan.
How to compare cleaning quotes
- Is the price fixed, or hourly with no cap?
- Which rooms and extras are included, line by line?
- Are cleaners vetted and insured?
- Are supplies and equipment included?
- What happens if something is missed? Ours is a re-clean if you tell us within 36 hours
How to keep the price down
- Clear counters, floors and closets before the team arrives
- Choose only the extras you need
- Send photos with your quote request
- After one deep clean, switch to a bi-weekly plan; regular visits cost less each
- Combine services, such as a move-out clean and carpet cleaning, in one visit
